A little bit about Zoe
Since November 2016 Zoe has worked as the Wedding and Functions Manager for Fairbrossen Winery and Café in the Perth Hills. This has been a wonderful and positive change from her previous career and she has absolutely loved every second of it. Planning events is something that Zoe loves to do, and excels at.
Zoe was previously employed by WA Police for 16 years and was a Detective for 8 years of that time. During her career she has worked in several Metropolitan and Country locations. She has also been an Army Reservist for 12 years, and taken on roles from Transport Driver to Advance Combat First Aider / Medic to Military Police.
These two vocations that Zoe has chosen have given her exceptional organisational and management skills, as well as time management and people skills along with the ability to make critical decisions easily.
As well as taking on hectic work schedules Zoe has also run the Social Clubs at every location she has worked. This has involved her organising and executing everything from Christmas Party’s (arranging venues, set up, catering, entertainment, clean up), Movember Fundraising Functions, Police Charity Balls, Going Away Party’s, Oktoberfest Functions and almost any other function you could imagine for up to (and sometimes in excess of) 150 people.
In 2015 Zoe took on her favourite role yet when she became a mother. She now has two fabulous children and decided to begin a career that is more conducive to family life, and so has established Rutherford Events.
